A tiny enchanted world: a fairy girl perched on a red toadstool, surrounded by greenery, butterflies, and thousands of shimmering beads set one at a time by hand. The dimensional beadwork catches the light as you move past it, so the piece never quite looks the same twice — jewel tones in her hair, warm earthy reds and golds in the mushroom cap, a trail of pearl-white beads following a butterfly across the canvas. This is an original. There's no print or reproduction that could capture the raised, textured surface of the handmade beadwork. Framed in ornate gold with a soft sage mat, it has the feeling of a vintage storybook illustration that grew a little magic of its own.
Once it's gone, this little piece won't be made exactly the same way again.
